About us
Holte Electronics AS was founded in March 2009 with the aim of supplying electronic instruments for special, non mainstream applications. It ended up with cable localizing gear for civil engineers (excavator drivers), which is definitely not mainstream! The first product was a little passive cable locator ("electronic divining rod") called CableBuster that fits in the inner pocket. It works well in Norway and the major part of Sweden, but encountered problems with strong long wave radio signals in Germany and adjacent areas. We therefore introduced CB DiffAnt which is insensitive to airborne radio sigals, but receives them indirectly via cables and exploits them to localize the cables.
